What Is Endermologie Cellulite Treatment?

Many people believe that having cellulite is a result of being overweight. This is however not entirely the truth. Most women have cellulite on some area of their body or another. Even athletes and models who are in peak physical condition have to deal with this condition. In fact, up to 90% of post-adolescent women will have to deal with cellulite at some point in their lives.

What exactly is cellulite though? Basically, cellulite is fat that has become localized in one or several areas of the body just below the surface of the skin, it most commonly occurrs on the stomach, thighs and butt. These collections of fat begin to push against the connective tissue under the skin, causing it to dimple and appear lumpy. There are a number of different factors that contribute to the development of cellulite, like your age, gender, amount of fat on your body, the thickness of your skin and simple genetics.

Cellulite affects women more frequently than it does men. The way that fat cells are aligned in a woman's body is more typically more conducive to the development of cellulite over time. This unfortunately just comes down to nature and there's not a lot that can be done about it. However, there are ways to treat the skin and reduce the appearance of cellulite. Endermologie treatments use advanced and non-invasive technologies to smooth and reshape dimpled skin. Through the use of suction and motorized rollers, Endermologie increases the amount of blood flow in targeted areas, facilitating the exchange of fluids and closing the gaps that originally created the dimpled appearance. In addition to this, you can lose inches in circumferential body measurements from treatments and may start noticing your clothes are fitting better. Patients can expect to start seeing visible improvement within 7-10 treatments. Not only will you see results, you will get to enjoy a relaxing and pleasant massage-like treatment from a professionally trained Masseuse.

What Factors Into the Cost of Breast Implants?

All medical procedures have costs associated with them that add up quickly. Before a patient realizes it, their medical bills pile up and it can be overwhelming to handle. Pre-surgery, post-surgery, the materials used, and follow-up procedures are all factors that should be considered when planning an operation. Cosmetic surgeries such as breast implants are no exception. The cost is dependent on many things, and the proper preparation can help a patient plan the most cost-effective way to achieve the results they desire.

Breast implants in the United States can cost as much as $15,000, which most people cannot afford. The best way to dramatically reduce the cost of this plastic surgery is to travel abroad to a country that has doctors who perform this procedure at half the price. Of course, airfare, accommodations, and other living costs are required when traveling abroad for surgery. Nevertheless, the cost is so much lower in other countries that it is still cheaper.

Pre-surgery costs include multiple consultations with a doctor before the actual day of the operation. Blood tests are often required to make sure a patient is healthy before undergoing anesthesia and extensive work. Lab fees associated with these tests increase the cost of breast implants.

There are different materials used for implants. Some patients opt for saline implants, while others prefer silicone. A silicone implant is slightly more expensive than one made of saline. Though the difference is only a few hundred dollars and may not seem like a lot in the grand scheme of the surgery, this is something to consider for patients on a budget.

There are risks and potential complications as a result of any surgery, cosmetic or otherwise. Realizing the possible bodily and monetary implications of electing breast implant surgery is an important part of the decision. Follow-up procedures may be necessary if the result is not how the patient expected, which increases the cost of the implants. Also, the weight of the implants cause breasts to sag over time, and maintenance surgeries every 10 years is recommended.

Many factors contribute to the cost of this procedure. The most cost-effective solution to this form of plastic surgery is to find a certified doctor in another country who specializes in the procedure. Choosing saline over silicone can reduce the cost. Finally, picking a renowned clinic or hospital and following recovery instructions will produce the best results thereby minimizing the chances of needing an expensive follow-up surgery.

Why Does Rhinoplasty Cost Less When Traveling Abroad?

Rhinoplasty cost and the expenses of other cosmetic surgeries are cheaper overseas for one reason - procedures are just less expensive in other countries. The United States and UK are known for having expensive medical treatments, so it makes sense to find an equally qualified doctor in another part of the world who can perform the same operation at a fraction of the cost. In addition, patients can combine their medical journey with a vacation if they choose a destination with tropical weather or rich in historical significance.

Hundreds of thousands of people all over the world are taking part in a growing trend in the plastic surgery industry - medical tourism. Many people cannot afford $10,000 - $15,000 breast implants, nor do they have $8,000 for a nose job. Dramatically reduce the rhinoplasty cost by finding a reputable doctor who can offer the same procedure for half as much money.

The lower cost of living in other countries is the main reason why these medical procedures are less expensive. Also, wages paid to doctors and nurses in other countries are far less than in the United States and UK. The exchange rate of the local currency to that in a foreign country is often in favor of the American dollar, British pound or Euro, which also plays a part in lowering rhinoplasty cost.

Careful planning of a medical tourism trip can afford a patient an enjoyable and memorable vacation as well as the procedure for less money. Depending on the destination and the patient's surgical needs, the savings will vary. However, because prices are so dramatically lower, the rhinoplasty cost overseas will inevitably be less.

Another reason people choose to have their plastic surgeries performed overseas is for anonymity. If a patient does not want to tell their co-workers that they are having work done, they can simply explain that they are going on a vacation. When the surgery and recovery is over and the person returns to work, they will look relaxed, refreshed, and better than ever following their trip.

Remember to consider airfare, accommodations, and other living expenses in addition to the rhinoplasty cost when planning one of these trips. All medical procedures carry certain risks, but the proper research will increase the chances of a happy and safe result. Choosing a board certified doctor with a proven track record of success will make sure a patient gets the most out of their combined medical procedure and vacation experience.

Non Surgical Plastic Surgery Helps the Industry Grow Further

Not too long ago, cosmetic plastic surgery was meant only for a select few. Only celebrities such as actors, musicians or high net worth individuals could afford any kind of cosmetic surgeries. Today not only has the industry changed its image completely, literally millions of surgeries are being performed each year on people from all walks of life. To say plastic surgery is now a common occurrence is an understatement. One of the factors that have helped this industry grow so much and that too so fast is due to the growing popularity of non surgical cosmetic procedures.

Non surgical procedures are basically that type of cosmetic surgery where there are no incisions involved on any part of the body. Plastic surgeons do not need to cut open any part of the body where they are performing the surgery and no loss of blood etc is involved. Botox is the best example of a non surgical cosmetic surgery. More than 10 million Botox procedures are being performed each year world wide with the United States leading in the number of such procedures being performed every year. Other examples of non surgical procedures would include all types of laser treatments such as laser hair removal, laser tattoo removal, laser stretch mark removal amongst others.

Non surgical plastic surgery procedures are much cheaper than surgical procedures. Also usually these types of cosmetic enhancements involve none to negligible risk factors. The most important aspect of such procedures is the cost. While surgical cosmetic surgery can get quite expensive, non surgical procedures can cost as low as a few hundred dollars and are affordable by most individuals who desire to undergo these kinds of cosmetic surgeries. The cost as well as the low risk factors has been important reasons why the entire industry has grown at a rapid pace. In fact non surgical procedures have fast outnumbered surgical procedures in all markets where plastic surgery is popular.

The other great part about procedures such as Botox or laser treatments is that you can complete the entire procedure in a few hours and get back to your daily routine as well. There is no waiting for the body or facial features to heal. There are no restrictions on heavy activities and in most cases there are no restrictions on your diet as well. Non surgical plastic surgery is quite simple and you are able to follow your daily routine even if you go through such procedures quite regularly. As a matter of fact, many compare getting a non surgical cosmetic surgery to a standard appointment with your doctor where you are in and out of the hospital the same day and are back to your usual self immediately.

Given the number of advantages and ease of undergoing any kind of non surgical plastic surgery, it is no surprise that the industry has become so popular and is continuing to grow at a tremendous pace. Best thing about this type of cosmetic surgery is that anyone and everyone are able to afford them and do not have to disrupt their normal lives to get something like Botox or anything similar.

Go For A Breast Augmentation To Look Good

Each of us want to look good and attractive, but are not necessarily born with all the right features. This is one of the reasons why cosmetic surgery is very popular and many women opt for it. Since large breasts make them look good, women with smaller breasts often feel bad about it and suffer from low self confidence. An ideal solution for this lies in going in for breast augmentation plastic surgery. A Las Vegas plastic surgeon is a good choice who will make you look good and will boost your confidence immediately. According to the American Society for Aesthetic Surgery, 311960 women in America underwent breast implants last year which is way higher than those who underwent liposuction.

A breast augmentation surgery is a method by which a cosmetic surgeon helps to increase the size of a woman's breasts. This type of surgery is also known as augmentation mammoplasty in medical terms. The two types if breast implants that are most popular are saline implants and silicone gel implants. In the first procedure, a silicone elastometer shell is filled with clean saline liquid. For the silicone gel breast implant, a silicone shell is filled with silicone gel. These implants are placed behind the chest muscles so that patients can undergo mammograms in the future.

Breast augmentation Nevada

This procedure is mostly opted for cosmetic reasons by women who are affluent and conscious of their looks and image. These women mostly belong from high socio-economic strata and can afford the expensive procedure. However there might be other reasons where people may have to go in for this procedure. Breast implants are also done for replacing the breast tissue that had to be removed due to cancer or for reconstruction of breasts which were abnormal in shape. Sometimes a surgery is done to either improve or correct the imperfections that were left behind by an earlier cosmetic surgery.

If you have undergone such a surgery, then it is important for you to know, how to take care of yourself post surgery. You can resume normal activities after a week of the surgery, but heavy and strenuous work or exercises must be avoided for a few months. It is also advised that you refrain from smoking and any other physically strenuous activities.

Tattoo Removal Overview

Tattoo removal is a procedure in which the tattoo is removed from the skin of the person. There are actually several kinds of lasers that can be used for this procedure while there are also other light sources that can be utilized to remove the mark. Other more dated ways to go about losing the markings include plastic surgery and abrasion of sorts. These are said to be quite painful and are used as a last resort if laser and light procedures are not possible.

Q Switched Lasers

These are the most popular and cost efficient tattoo removal procedure. The laser basically breaks down the pigments in the ink used for the tattoos and the broken down pigments are ten dispersed into the body and eliminated accordingly. The entire erasure of the mark is not guaranteed and is not easy. This is not to say that it is pain free also, in fact, many of those who have undergone this procedure and other laser based process of removing the marking son the skin have described the pain as a burning sensation that is akin to having a sort of low flame on the skin. Scarring is highly possible and the doctors may even tell the patient to expect some form of scarring after the entire procedure is finished. The operation can reach up to several sessions, depending on how big and complicated the markings on the body are. Each session may cost around $300 to $600 with a duly certified medical team.

Light Therapy

This is a more expensive alternative to laser therapy and is also a less painful way of tattoo removal. The basic concept of both procedures is the same but instead of the painful laser that burns; an intense, pulsing light is used. Many claim that this is more effective in the sense of removing the markings. The cost is several times that of the laser procedure which is why it is not always recommended.

Abrasion

This method is not recommended unless there is a very good reason why both laser and intense light therapy do not work or is not recommended. Tattoo removal using this technique is painful and is sure to result in severe scarring. The procedure uses some form of abrasive to remove the upper layer of the skin and slowly eats away at the part of the dermis in which the ink has been deposited.

Plastic Surgery

This form requires major surgery in the sense that the tattooed area is excised and the skin is sewed back together. This is also another costly procedure and may also resort to scarring. It is not recommended for large tattoos since there may not be enough skin to remove and sew back.

Do Your Breasts Need a Breast Lift?

Comments (0)

Breast lift surgery is a type of surgical procedure that is performed under general anesthesia. Modifying the breasts in this manner is to both lift and shape them to a more desirable place on the chest. The operation takes approximately 90 minutes to three hours to complete from beginning to end. As the patient of a lift you will have to remain in the hospital for one day (and more if there are any complications). Expect to be off work anywhere from a week to two weeks. You may experience blood bruises and swelling afterwards. For this reason for your comfort you should wear an elastic bra (such as a sports bra) that is soft once you come home and for the first few weeks following the breast lift.

The shape of the bosom changes throughout a woman's life. The shape alters in relation to the menstrual cycle as well as during significant times when hormones are at high levels, such as puberty, childbirth, lactation and throughout the various stages of menopause. When the breasts start to droop and sag to the level of the inframammary fold and below it this is a condition that is referred to as breast ptosis.

This type of plastic procedure is not suitable for females under the age of 18 years. The only instance in which a doctor will proceed with the surgery for a woman who is under the age of 18 is if she suffers from a serious health problem. Ptosis can take place due to hormonal shift but also as a result of losing a great deal of weight, a reduction of fat in the breast and/or a decrease of glandular tissue in the breast. Ptosis falls into three categories. There is mild ptosis, mild to moderate ptosis and severe ptosis.

A breast lift is also known as a mastopexy. The aim of a mastopexy is to return the appearance of the chest to a more youthful and voluptuous appearance. What the surgeon does is he adjusts the height of the nipple-areola complex which in turn moves about the mammary gland. The less that the breasts droop the less affected will the mammary gland be because of the procedure. It is important to note however that the results of the surgery cannot permanently prevent gravity from causing the breasts to sag again as time passes. This is a surgical procedure that may have to be repeated again the future, depending upon how much sagging takes place as you get older.

A breast lift is most often done because of aesthetics. In other words, a woman may be distressed by how her chest looks and not want to live with a droopy chest any longer. There are cases however when a mastopexy can be performed for a patient who has asymmetry of the breasts or after a mammary gland goes through a partial reduction. If implants are removed from the body then a lift is essential.

A New Orleans breast lift will help you succeed at your goal of looking your best if your breasts need some perking up. For more information please visit the following: http://www.doctorkinsley.com/

At Home Laser Hair Treatments - Do They Work?

Technology is a wonderful thing isn't it? It used to be if you wanted to permanently remove your body hair, you would have got to go to a cosmetic doctor who would give you laser treatments. This is a wonderful option. There is one tiny problem, though: It's insanely expensive.

Luckily, technology is always improving and what was once only possible by going to see a doctor is now available to all of us with at home laser hair treatments. There are several of these kind of machines out in the marketplace.

Now the million dollar question: do they actually work?

Speaking as somebody who's never been to a cosmetic doctor, I can't really comment how well the home laser treatments work compares to the ones at the doctor's office.

If I were to venture to guess, I would say that the ones used in the doctors office are going to be stronger and more effective than the "at home" laser treatments.

But that being said, the home treatments can be quite effective as long as you stick with the regimen, and don't slouch off. Best of all, they are a much cheaper alternative than paying thousands of dollars at the doctor's office.

They have different power levels and once you get used to it, you'll be using the top level without any problems. The pain is pretty minimal. It's the equivalent of a light rubber band snapping your skin. Don't worry...you get used to it. After the third treatment, you don't even notice it anymore.

Removing Back Hair

Is there anything more unappealing than back hair? As somebody who had to live with this since shortly after puberty, you could imagine how embarrassing this was for me. I certainly know that I am not alone on this issue.

As you are reading this right now, there are a lot of men wearing shirts on the beach, because they are embarrassed about their back hair.

You've got a few choices as far as what you can do about this.

Obviously, you can just live with it. But I'm guessing if you are reading this, then that's not the option you want to take.

Another option is to go see a cosmetic doctor who specializes in laser hair treatments. This is a great option if you are rich, because back hair treatments can cause thousands of dollars per treatment. You can be assured that you are going to need a lot of treatments. So the costs will definitely add up.

So like the vast majority of the people out there, I could not afford those kind of costs. If you can, then by all means, you should do it.

But luckily for me, and other people who are on the hairy side and don't have tens of thousands of dollars at their disposal, technology has made a solution that is a little more feasible.

Laser hair treatments have now been brought to the home, and don't require the use of a doctor. Sure, they are not as strong as the professional ones, but they are nowhere near as expensive. But just as long as you stick with it, you will see results.

Getting Rid Of Body Hair Permanently

Comments (0)

If you were like me, you want to know how to get rid of body hair permanently. For me, as a person, who's had to deal with back hair since I was very young, I was really desperate.

I know one option is to visit a cosmetic surgeon who can give me laser treatments. The one problem with this, is that it is ridiculously expensive. Not to mention the fact that it's not like you're going there for one time and never have to worry about it again.

You are going to need a lot of treatments, and to pay several thousand dollars every single time you visit the doctor, you can go broke in a hurry that way. Come to think of it there is no way to eliminate body hair permanently in one sitting. It's impossible to do (at least that I'm aware of). So you need to get that out of your mind. But luckily, we live in a great technological age. Machines that used to be only strong enough for medical professionals to use have now hit the household market.

There are at home laser hair treatments that you can use. While they may not be cheap, they are very inexpensive compared to what the alternatives are.

You just need to keep up with the regimen. Right now, I am getting treatments once every 3 weeks, and as long you stick with it, you can see results. You just need to know what product you have to use.

You can read about my story with using the TRIA Laser by going to my site: TRIA.

Lifestyle Changes After a Tummy Tuck

Comments (0)

A flabby and protruding belly can be slenderized with the tummy tuck procedure. Another name for this operation is an abdominoplasty. Once a person has gone through the surgery and recovery, they will no doubt be quite pleased with their new and improved appearance. Old habits can cause the figure flaws to return. What better time to make a few lifestyle changes in order to keep that belly flat.

Here are some tips for creating a healthy lifestyle which supports an attractive body:

- Diet: Incorporating a healthy diet into one's life is a huge step toward keeping a slender mid-section. Not just fads, either. Changing the way one eats and views food in general will make the difference for years to come. Portion size is something to look at. Many restaurants heap piles of high calorie food on their patrons' plates. Split a meal with a friend or family member, order a take -out container at the beginning of the meal and place half the grande order into it, so there won't be any temptation to pig out. A bonus of this practice is that a meal will be ready and waiting for the next day. Keep alcoholic beverages, fried foods and desserts at an extreme minimum. Eat lots of seasonal fruits and veggies, plus several daily portions of high fiber whole grains such as brown rice, whole wheat bread, crackers and tortillas. Ample lean protein should be ingested daily, as well, such as chicken, fish, tofu, and nuts.

- Water: Replacing most beverages with pure water will eliminate multiple calories from the daily intake. Water is more refreshing, cheaper and keeps the body's elimination system working as nature intended it to. Just say "yes" to water and "no" to constipation because it causes belly bulge.

- Exercise: You don't have to become a super-jock in order to get adequate exercise. Exercise shouldn't be perceived as something that can only be done formally at a fitness club. Incorporating physical activity into one's routine is what will make the difference. Going for walks around the neighborhood, parking the car further away than necessary at the grocery store, taking the stairs instead of the elevator will all add up over time. More formal exercises such as yoga, aerobics class, and weight lifting will be beneficial, as well. Active recreation such as bowling, swimming, bicycling, dancing and hiking can whittle away the fat while creating big fun and a healthier, happier social life.

A tummy tuck was an expense and took a lot of recovery time. Make the benefits pay off for the duration of your life with a few lifestyle tweaks.

Considering a tummy tuck? Need tips on keeping that belly fat off? Let Aesthetic Center of Jacksonville give you all the details you need. For more information visit http://www.aestheticcenterjax.com/index.html

Plastic Surgery - Your First Visit

Comments (0)

As you anxiously await the opportunity to talk about your needs, goals, and desires for your body, you may be wondering what to expect. While each doctor is going to have his or her own approach to this initial visit, here are some things you can expect, as well as some things to watch for as you head to the clinic for the first time.

When You Arrive

Remember, this initial consultation is your opportunity to find out about the doctor and decide if he or she is a good fit for you and your goals. Consider taking someone with you to help you evaluate the clinic and the staff.

When you arrive at the plastic surgery clinic, you will likely see a receptionist, who will have you fill out a form that asks for a health history and other details about your physical needs. Bring a list of all supplements and medications you take, as these can affect your surgery results, even if they are over-the-counter or herbal products.

As you wait to see the doctor, notice whether or not the location seems professional. Is the staff professional and courteous? Are you treated well, or are you rushed through the signing in process too quickly? Is the clinic tastefully decorated, or filled with glaring advertisements?

Consider the length of your wait. You will likely be at the clinic several times as you pursue plastic surgery. You do not want to choose a clinic that has chronically long wait times. If you do notice the wait is long, does the staff apologize or provide an explanation, or does it appear to be par for the course?

In the Office

Once you are called back, pay attention to the process. Is the nurse friendly and courteous? Did you receive a tour of the facility? If so, did it seem well organized and clean? Some forms of plastic surgery are done in the clinic. Would you feel comfortable having your procedure there?

You should not be left alone long in the doctor's office. Once the doctor arrives, you will be greeted and have the opportunity to discuss your goals with him or her. The length of this consultation is not necessarily important, as some types of plastic surgery are fairly straightforward. However, you should get the impression that the doctor is a highly trained professional who is willing to answer your questions thoroughly. You should not feel rushed when you ask questions about the surgery.

If your doctor is a different gender than you, you will likely have a chaperon, such as a nurse or staff member that is the same gender as you. This protects the doctor from any accusations of inappropriate behavior. If you are not offered a chaperon and you wish to have one, feel free to ask.

After this first visit, you should have a good feel for the doctor, the clinic, and whether or not they are a good fit for you. If you feel comfortable, then it is time to schedule your procedure, and get further on your way to the body you are dreaming about.

Your first visit to a Boston plastic surgery office can be intimidating. To get the info you need before you go, visit http://drmossthebeautyboss.com

Why Seek Ear Reconstructive Surgery?

Comments (0)

Ear surgery reconstruction is challenging surgery to perform because the ear is comprised of multiple and tiny parts. There are several reasons for seeking reconstructions, including those that are purely cosmetic. Microtia, repair due to trauma, and repair due to aesthetic attempts gone wrong are common reasons that the procedure is sought.

Microtia, a congenital ear deformity, literally translated means small ear. There is no known reason for the presence of the condition, and it most often is unilateral-occurring only on one side. For a child anticipating ear reconstructive surgery, a doctor will recommend waiting until the age of six or seven. Because of the nature of the surgery, the child must be this old for the actual reconstructive tissues that are taken from the rib cage to be large enough to form an adequately sized replacement. It is also recommended to wait until a certain age because not only does the small ear rarely emotionally affect a younger child but also it is easier for a surgeon to work with a child of a certain age who can cognitively employ recovery techniques.

There are many types of ear trauma that may benefit from an ear surgery reconstruction, but it should be noted that unless a procedure is likely to restore hearing, these choices are made for aesthetic reasons. Doctors see many candidates who are recovering burn victims or victims of other traumatic injury. These surgeries will be more involved as the outside of the ear and the inside of the ear are both likely in need of repair. External procedures are commonly performed by plastic surgeons, but internal issues should be tended to by a very specialized team. Often called a craniofacial team, this group could consist of an ENT, a plastic surgeon, a neurologist, and perhaps a dentist as such injuries can protrude into the jaw. A speech pathologist may also be assigned to determine if any of the structures of the ear or palate involved in maintaining speech.

In recent times, fad piercing has caused many aesthetically displeasing outcomes. The heavy materials placed in the manipulative cartilage can cause rips, tears, gashes, and holes. And, though some of these are often the goal of ear gauging and piercing, doctors are beginning to see clients with piercing remorse seeking repair to the damaged area. Some have seen clients as a result of face lifts gone badly, while other more common things such as ear pinning or re-shaping are also commonly addressed.

If you or a loved one suffers from Microtia, it's worth looking into ear surgery reconstruction. For more info, visit http://www.atlantaear.com

Plastic Surgery for Children

Comments (0)

Plastic surgery is typically considered something for adults, but there are situations when children can benefit from cosmetic procedures as well. Cosmetic surgeons can fix deformities children are born with, scars that occur after injuries, and other potentially traumatic problems in children. This allows them to lead a normal life, free from the teasing that often comes from these problems. If you are a parent considering plastic surgery for your child, here are some things to consider.

Functional Versus Cosmetic

Some cosmetic procedures for children actually have a functional purpose in addition to the cosmetic benefit. For instance, children born with certain facial deformities may not be able to use their mouths properly. This can affect their ability to eat, drink, and talk. A cleft palate is an example of this type of deformity. Sometimes cosmetic surgeons can repair this deformity to improve the child's appearance as well as the functionality of the affected body part.

Some parents are willing to allow their children to have plastic surgery for purely cosmetic reasons. In this situation, you must decide exactly what you are comfortable with. Do not allow outside influences to pressure you or your child into surgery. Remember, the results of these procedures are permanent, and only a future surgery will change them.

Restoring Appearance After Injury

A bad fall, a dog bite, or a car accident can all leave behind disfiguring scars. When these scars are quite visible, particularly when they are on the face, they can make a lasting impact on the child's emotional well being. Sometimes, plastic surgery can improve the look of these scars, helping to restore the child's appearance to what it was prior to the accident. Medical doctors may even call on cosmetic surgeons in these scenarios when closing the wound to do so in such a way that it creates less visible scars.

Emotional Considerations

As your child's parent, you have the job of not only providing for his physical needs, but also for his emotional needs. You must decide what message plastic surgery will give to your child. No matter what the physical deformity or scarring issue your child has, you need to teach your child that she is great simply the way she is. You do not want to give your child the impression that a procedure will make her more likable or earn more of your love. However, if your child is growing up with emotional problems due to a disfigurement that can be fixed, you may be able to provide the right amount of emotional love and support by allowing your child to get a procedure done. It is up to you to decide what emotions are involved in the situation, and what your child is ready to handle.

Should You Have a Breast Lift and Implants Done Together Or Not?

Comments (0)

A breast lift does exactly what it states: it lifts the breasts. It raises the nipples to a more desired position on the bosom. However a lift will not makes your chest any bigger. If you want to have a larger breast size then you need to get implants (otherwise known as augmentation surgery).

Augmentation does the opposite of a breast lift. It makes the chest bigger but it will not raise the breasts at all. Women who are not pleased with the look and feel of their chest are likely to decide to have the two operations at the same time. This is possible for many patients. What you need to remember however is that both surgical procedures have different purposes.

Some women have breasts that droop worse than others. This is related to everything from life changes, to pregnancy to aging to the size of a female's bosom to begin with. It is the extent to which your breasts droop that will determine whether your lift surgery should accompany the implant procedure.

Plastic surgeons have a system by which they determine the sag factors for their patient's breasts. For example, patients who have a mild droop are considered to be grade I. These women often can get away with just having implants put in if they desire a larger chest area. They also must be willing to accept that that the upper half of each breast may bulge somewhat if they just go with the augmentation procedure.

Grade II is females who have a moderate droop. In this case the patient can choose to have both a breast lift as well as augmentation done at the same time, or else she can decide to first have the augmentation procedure and then later have a lift. If the woman decides to just have the implants then the grade II droop can increase her chances of having a double bubble or a bulge in her chest region.

Women who are classified in the grade III category are the ones who experience a severe droop. These women are well advised to have both procedures at once. It is likely that implants alone will not be as successful and/or bring about the desired results. In this case the potential for a severe upper pole bulge or a double bubble is very great. A breast lift is highly recommended for patients who fall into the grade III group.

It is important that you discuss all of these pertinent issues with the cosmetic surgeon before your operation is booked. Only by having all of the right information can you make the best decision possible for yourself!

Rhinoplasty - Procedure and Doctors

Comments (0)

The nose knows right? Well, for some of us we don't want to think about our noses. They are an eye sore on our faces right. Too big, crooked, hooked, it's all a little much. We want to be seen as having a nice symmetrical atheistically pleasing face. While there are many people that say, you know what it's what I've got and that's good enough some of us would dearly love to not be noticed for the size of our noses. Having a distinguished profile is not something we strive for. Rhinoplasty can correct this oversized issue.

When you consider having rhinoplasty you need to make sure you understand what you are getting into. You will be asking a doctor to manipulate the bone and cartilage that makes up your nose. You will be altering the structure of your face, in a way and it needs to be something that you are sure you want to do before you make the appointment. Also you need to have a clear idea in mind of what you want to accomplish during your surgery.

You also need to ensure that you pick a doctor that is board certified to perform cosmetic surgery. Unlike some cosmetic procedures where you will just look really bad should the surgery be botched this type of procedure can cause a whole host of other issues. If something goes wrong you could end up with breathing issues that will take yet another surgery to correct. Because the cause would be from a cosmetic procedure that means most likely your insurance won't pay for any subsequent procedures. You would need to check with your insurance company to be certain.

You won't come out of your rhinoplasty looking like a movie star. Like all surgeries you will have to recover first. It may take a couple of weeks for all of the swelling and bruising to go away. Because of some of the sutures and stents that may be put in place you need to be sure to follow your doctors post operation instruction very carefully. You don't want to miss a follow up appointment just because it all looks good to you.

If you feel that it's time to lose the distinguished profile, be seen for more than just your nose, then it might be time to consider rhinoplasty. Doing even just a minor change can make a world of difference.

If your nose is a little too distinguished, you may want to seek out Baltimore rhinoplasty. Find out more at http://www.drcohenplasticsurgery.com

Rhinoplasty - Benefits and Risks

Comments (0)

A rhinoplasty, or "nose job" as many call them, is a cosmetic surgery procedure designed to change the shape and appearance of the nose to better fit the face. Many individuals turn to this cosmetic surgery to improve their facial appearance. Like all plastic surgery options, a rhinoplasty carries both benefits and risks that patients should understand.

Risks of a Nose Job

First, understand the risks you take on by choosing this cosmetic procedure. Any time you choose surgery, you open your body to the risk of infection, adverse reactions to anesthesia, and loss of blood. While you cannot eliminate these risks completely, choosing a surgeon with a good reputation who has hospital privileges puts you at less risk.

Sometimes patients who have a nose job find that they experience long lasting pain or numbness after the procedure. This is due to nerve damage. Again, choosing a good surgeon limits this risk.

If you have implants as part of your procedure, you run the risk of extrusion of those implants. Asymmetry can also occur, as can a keloid, or heavy, scar. You also have the risk of losing your sense of smell with this cosmetic surgery. Again, these complications are quite rare if you choose a quality doctor.

Benefits of a Nose Job

The benefits of rhinoplasty are both cosmetic and functional. Most patients turn to plastic surgery for its cosmetic benefit. Facial symmetry is one of the most foundational aspects of deciding attractiveness of another person. If you have a nose that is not symmetrical with your face, it severely impacts the way you look. Restoring or creating symmetry through cosmetic surgery on the nose greatly improves your overall appearance by creating balanced lines of symmetry.

Sometimes it's the shape of the nose that is no unattractive. A nose with too much or too little of an arch in the bridge or an oddly shaped tip can be fixed through cosmetic surgery. Sometimes this is as simple as altering the look with injectable fillers, or as complex as a full rhinoplasty.

Finally, you can add to or decrease the size of your nose through cosmetic surgery. This usually creates dramatic results with a very minimal change.

Patients with breathing difficulties or birth defects like a deviated septum can benefit from rhinoplasty as well. Often a simple procedure makes breathing much easier and improves the overall functionality of the nasal passages.

It's important to research the benefits and risks of rhinoplasty in Denver before making the decision. To learn more, visit http://www.drzwiebel.com

Face Lift - Find Out the Facts First

Comments (0)

While there are people out there that fully embrace the idea of aging gracefully, others choose not to go out without a fight. Many beauty companies sell an array of creams and serums that are said to fight the signs of aging. Although these products are great for moisturizing the skin and smoothing some imperfections, they cannot hold a candle to the effects people get after getting a face lift. However, before jumping right in and getting this operation, be sure to do your research to ensure you have a good idea of what it's all about.

Advantages
Choosing to get work done on your facial features is a big decision. The great thing is that once you get the procedure, you're sure to enjoy an assortment of advantages. Getting a face lift can result in fewer lines and wrinkles, little-to-no sagginess, a vibrant appearance and more. Some people tend to look 10 years younger. Furthermore, a lot of people want to look as good on the outside as they feel on the inside. If this sounds like you, this procedure could be the answer you've been searching for.

Pricing
Since a face lift isn't deemed a medical issue, insurance companies don't usually cover the costs. For the most part, this procedure is just to help beautify the person and therefore you should get ready to pay out of pocket for it. Numerous issues can affect how much you pay, such as your location, doctor's experience, cost of anesthesia as well as money needed to pay for the hospital or other facility. So it's essential that you either save up your money or see if there is some type of financing or payment plan you can set up with your doctor's office.

How it's done
There are numerous ways a surgeon can perform this procedure. The most common way is having the doctor make incisions behind the ears and near the hairline. Once this is done, the doctor can then manipulate the skin by pulling it tight, then removing any excess skin for a softer, smoother look to the face. If needed, liposuction can be done to get rid of extra fatty tissue. After the procedure is complete, the area is bandaged and the patient is sent home to relax and recover.

Healing process
While everyone is different when it comes to recovery, some of the most common things to keep in mind is the importance of following your doctor's instructions. In addition, take it easy and avoid any strenuous exercise or work. Also, expect to feel some pain, swelling as well as discoloration after a face lift. You may also notice a temporary imbalance or asymmetry in the region, but this will soon go away.

You may be looking older than you really are, and it may be time for a face lift in Philadelphia. For more info, visit http://www.drbucky.com

The Plastic Surgeon in 2009 - Trends in a Difficult Year

Comments (0)

All industries saw significantly less profits during 2009. However, the cosmetic treatment industry only saw a decline of 2 percent with many different trends emerging.

Despite the global economic recession, the plastic surgery industry has only taken a two percent decrease since the beginning of 2009. This is an indication that Americans value their appearance and will find other ways to cut spending during difficult times. In 2008, there were approximately 10.3 million surgical and non-surgical cosmetic procedures performed in the United States. In 2009, that number dropped to 10 million.

2009 Trends

Women were found to have the most cosmetic surgeries performed (almost 90 percent). In 2009, the most popular surgical procedures performed by doctors for women were; breast augmentation, eyelid surgery, abdominoplasty, breast reduction and liposuction. The most prevalent procedures for men were; liposuction, rhinoplasty, eyelid surgery, hair transplantation and breast reduction. Plastic surgery is commonly linked to an upper-class market that has the money for these procedures. However, with the release of different non-surgical procedures, many income levels can benefit from these services.

Origin of this Information

Every year since 1997, the ASPAS compiles an annual report of different procedures completed throughout the year. This information is pulled from cosmetic surgery national data bank statistics. Despite the decrease in total number of procedures performed by a plastic surgeon in 2009, cosmetic procedures have more than doubled in popularity.

Plastic Surgery Breakdown

Due to the continued popularity of cosmetic enhancement the top five breakdown of various types of procedures for 2009 include:

Otoplasty - Is It The Right Choice?

Comments (0)

Otoplasty is a cosmetic surgical procedure that is done to change the appearance of a person's external ears. For anyone who feels their ears are too big, too small, or stick out too much, this is probably the type of surgical intervention you dreamed about as a child but may not have even realized was possible. otoplasty is probably one of the least complicated plastic surgeries of all of the different types of cosmetic surgeries available and has the best rates for low complications after surgery.

otoplasty can include a wide variety of procedures from reducing ears that are too large, bringing ears in that are too far away from the skull (pinning the ears), enlarging ears that are too small, and repairing birth defects or defects from an accident.

Surgery is available for both adults and children. Most surgeons prefer children be at least four years old so their ears are fully formed and shaped before they undertake a cosmetic repair. Children are put under general anesthesia for surgery while adult patients can choose between general or local anesthesia.

Children who undergo cosmetic surgery are generally being targeted by bullying and teasing due to their ears, and parents have reported that surgery raises their children's self esteem and stops further social withdrawal while they are young enough to rebuild social skills.

Depending on what procedure is performed on the ears the surgery takes anywhere from two to five hours, and immediately afterwards the patient's head is wrapped in heavy bandages to protect the ears and help with healing. After a week or so the bandages are replaced with lighter bandages and then are removed. During the recovery time patients will experience some swelling and bruising that is natural with any surgery and may have some throbbing achy pain on their ears that is controlled with pain medication.

After the bandages are removed patients are still required to sleep with a headband type bandage on to protect their ears and aid in the healing process. Extreme heat and cold can cause ear numbness, so activities such as using a blow dryer must be avoided until the healing process is complete.

The cost for otoplasty will depend on a variety of factors including your location, the procedure you choose, how complex your surgery is and your doctor, but costs are usually around two to five thousand dollars not including the cost for pre and post op care.

Like most cosmetic surgeries this is done on an out patient basis although some patients, including children, may have to spend the night at the hospital for recovery, which will of course increase your total cost.

If you or your child has an ear deformity, otoplasty in New York could be for you. To learn more, visit http://www.drzevon.com

Laser Hair Removal - Who Is a Good Candidate?

Comments (0)

Laser hair removal is one of the most popular non-invasive cosmetic procedures performed on an outpatient basis in many clinics and spas across North America. A pulsating beam of intense light is targeted at the individual hair follicle, removing unwanted hair and helping prevent future hair growth. Not designed to provide 100% permanent removal, the follicle is damaged, but hair may still grow back after the first treatment. Typically, four to six treatments are required over a period of several months in order to achieve long-lasting effects.

Men and women that are good candidates for laser hair removal include people with dark hair and light skin pigmentation. Clients with more melanin in their skin (darker color) may experience temporary or permanent skin lightening in the treated area. This is because the pulsating beam of light specifically targets melanin. If it can't tell the difference between melanin in the skin and melanin in the hair, it will damage both at the same time. As such, patients with light colored hair on light or dark skin are not usually successful candidates for this procedure. The most successful areas of the body to treat include bikini line, upper lip, armpit, leg and chin.

While laser hair removal is very popular and generally safe, there are a few risk factors to be aware of. Risks and side effects are highly dependent on the level of skill and expertise of the aesthetician or doctor performing the procedure. Skin irritation, changes in skin color, hair re-growth, scabbing, crusting, and skin peeling are all possible side effects. Most are temporary and will disappear or reduce significantly within a few days.

The actual procedure of laser hair removal involves placing a small hand-held instrument against the skin in the area where hair removal is desired. The pulsating beam of light targets melanin in hair follicles and the intense heat damages the follicle from the inside. Clients often claim they feel a stinging or slight tingling sensation when the laser is applied. The laser may be fitted with a special tip that cools the skin as it touches it or the aesthetician or doctor may use a cooling gel to help protect the skin. The procedure length can vary from a few minutes to a few hours, depending on the size of area being treated.

Be sure to schedule a detailed and in-depth initial consultation with your doctor or aesthetician. At that time, they can review all of your current medications and health history. They will also be able to answer any questions or concerns you may have regarding the procedure and outcome. Be candid and open when discussing your expectations. This will help ensure you receive the most appropriate and ideal treatment regimen. Your doctor or aesthetician will also outline post-procedure plans and guidelines such as avoiding the sun, waxing, electrolysis and plucking. It is important to follow the instructions carefully and avoid scrubbing the area with harsh soaps. Never forget to apply sunscreen before leaving the house, even for short periods of time.

Hairiness can really get under your skin, but laser hair removal in Lubbock can solve the problem. For more information, visit http://www.lubbocklaserclinic.com

Plastic Surgery Limitations - You Can't Look Like Your Favorite Celebrity

Comments (0)

Plastic surgery is more popular and effective now than ever before. Not only does it play an important role in restoring appearances that have been marred by scarring, burns, and cancer, but it has become a very popular choice for those who are simply unhappy with their looks for whatever reason. However, experts in the field have begun to see more and more of a dangerous trend: people who want to go under the knife so they more closely resemble their favorite celebrity. Whether the celeb in question is Kim Kardashian, Pamela Anderson, or Brad Pitt, experts say that this trend should be nipped in the bud.

Bringing the subject to the spotlight was a recent exchange on the social networking site Twitter between Kim Kardashian and a fan. The fan boasted that she was going to get as much plastic surgery as necessary to look just like her favorite celebrity, the socialite and reality TV star Kardashian. Kim responded by saying that everyone should be happy with who they are and plastic surgery to look like her was not a good idea. Experts agree.

Many surgeons will turn a patient away if they come in with that type of request. While it is one thing to ask for Angelina Jolie's lips or the breasts of Pamela Anderson, giving a complete body makeover to look like a star is another thing entirely. Often, it is a symptom of needing some mental counseling more desperately than they need anything a cosmetic surgeon can provide. Still, in these days of incessant idol worship and stars with increasingly unrealistic bodies, it's no wonder the average person wants to do everything they can to look more like their silver screen heroes.

Experts don't want to give the wrong opinion. Patients going in for plastic surgery often bring in pictures of celebrities to show the doctor exactly what they want done. There's nothing wrong with that, say most experts. These pictures can give the doctor an insight into your desires and expectations and can be a starting point for a more realistic dialogue. However, this is far different from bringing in a picture of Jessica Alba and saying, "Her. Do whatever you have to do to make me look just like her." Competent and professional surgeons will usually send you packing if that is what you request. Having healthy and realistic expectations about your procedure is one of the most important aspects of cosmetic operations.

Rhinoplasty - Fixing Your Profile

Comments (0)

A distinguished profile might be okay for some people. For most people it is not the desired effect they want to portray. While having a large nose can be less than aesthetically pleasing it's not something that has to plague your every thought. If it is something that you just really want to change about yourself there is good news, it is a relatively simple fix. Having rhinoplasty performed might be the way for you to get the nose that you want.

A rhinoplasty is just the scientific term for what is more commonly known as a "nose job". During this procedure you will be sedated. Your doctor will then make incisions so that he can determine how to make the desired changes to your nose. He will reshape it by either restructuring the bone and cartilage or either, sometimes the bone or cartilage may not be altered. If you don't want to be all the way under during your procedure you do have that option. Some doctors do have a local anesthetic option for you to choose from.

Depending on what you want your rhinoplasty to accomplish you might be able to have the "close" incision option. This simply means that instead of making the cuts on the outside of the nose they are done on the inside of the nostril. While this might be a preferred method to minimize the appearance of any scars, it all depends on how much work you will be requiring. If you are overly worried that there may be a scar, even if it is small, you might want to speak with your doctor about this option of surgery.

Many people think of rhinoplasty as just making your face look a little better. While that might be the top reason that the surgery is performed it's not the only reason/. Some breathing issues can come from malformations of the nose. To correct these issues this type of procedure maybe performed. There's nothing to be ashamed of, it happens. You will be able to breathe better and you will end up looking great.

When you go see your doctor for your consultation you will need to have an idea of what you want to accomplish. Don't worry though, a qualified doctor will help you make sure the decision is right for you. He won't let you get a new nose that doesn't fit within the symmetry of your face. If you want something done that is not possible a good doctor will be there to reel you in and offer you an alternative, something that will look good and you will be happy with in the end.

Rhinoplasty surgery can make you feel better about yourself. While a distinguished profile might be perfectly fine for some people you don't have to live with it if you don't want to. If this is something that bothers you or a malformation makes it difficult for you to breathe then you might want to visit with your doctor.

If you're unhappy with your profile, San Antonio rhinoplasty may be the correct choice for you. To learn more, visit http://garzaplasticsurgery.com

Who Is Considered a Good Candidate For a Plastic Surgery Procedure?

Comments (0)

We do not all make excellent candidates for plastic surgery even if we deem it to be so. Finding out if you meet the criteria for the operation is one thing an excellent doctor should do. Your health status and age are two things that doctors reflect on.

Your physical well being is the first thing that surgeons put into consideration. Although plastic or cosmetic surgery is needless, it is still in a lot of ways a surgical process. Prior to starting the surgery, your surgeon should make certain that their subjects are medically fit. If the surgical process goes ahead before existing medical problems are dealt with your healing may drag on and you may even develop complications.

A nurse sets aside time to ascertain if the patient is ailing when they enter a health center. They check for diseases such as bleeding disorders, hypertension, arthritis and diabetes. This is performed since the diseases are linked with such complications as bleeding and loss of skin. They even lead to death in serious cases.

Surgeons also reflect on weight. If a patient is obese or overweight, the surgeon may experience difficulty conducting the operation. On the contrary, he may have concerns carrying out the procedure. The reason for this is that there may be complications. The surgeon may ask that you gain or lose weight depending on the circumstances.

Physicians also mull over age. If subjects are too old, then they are not eligible for cosmetic surgery. The fact that you may already be having existing health conditions that may put you in danger of developing complications is the reason behind this. In addition, it puts you in danger of not healing properly.

It is in line for a physician to inquire if an individual is taking prescription medication. Again, this is crucial to helping them establish if the person is eligible for the operation. You may be disqualified if you are found to be taking oral contraceptives, aspirin or oral replacement drugs. The reason behind this is that the medications prevent blood from clotting like it should. They also diminish the efficiency of the tablets surgeons use when operating.

Whether you smoke is yet another thing that medical practitioners think about. You can be requested to bring your smoking to an end, in the event that you do. You will not be permitted to puff cigarettes three weeks prior to the surgery. Smoking in the month after the surgery is also not accepted as it stops the body from healing well.

Your skin type is also reflected on depending on the plastic surgery you have chosen. For example, light skinned individuals are more eligible for skin resurfacing processes. The reason behind this is that their skins do not become peculiarly dark or light after an operation.

Understand that you will be subjected to a thorough medical check up if you thinking about undergoing plastic surgery. Ensure that you give honest responses to all queries arising from the surgeon.

Liposuction - Is Weight Loss Surgery the Right Decision?

Comments (0)

Losing weight is hard work and you can save yourself a lot of time and energy by having liposuction. You can get the extra fat removed from your body in just one day. You will reach your fitness goals without having to get on the treadmill for another boring workout.

Weight loss surgery is also ideal for busy people. If you have kids or work long hours, you probably do not have a lot of time for the gym. You can still get the look you want, even if you are working two jobs. This procedure only takes a few hours. The recovery process can take longer, but many people are back to their normal activities and work after a week of rest.

Losing weight is almost impossible for some people. Liposuction is definitely ideal for people who cannot lose weight no matter what. If you cannot get the look you desire and if you have tried dieting, exercising, and supplements, you can do something about it. You don't have to live with the extra weight on your frame. This procedure will help you remove the fat that is hard to reach with dieting and exercising. You can have liposuction on your stomach, love handles, thighs, buttocks, upper arms, knees, ankles, or knees. The procedure can take off up to ten pounds of fat from your body.

The results of this procedure are long lasting and most people are satisfied with their bodies after surgery. However, you should watch your diet and exercise once you are healed from your surgery. If you start eating junk food or stop exercising, you may gain some of the weight back.

Before you consider weight loss surgery, take the time to find a brilliant plastic surgeon. Meet with several cosmetic surgeons to discuss the procedure, risks, benefits, fees, and your goals. Ask questions and compare the doctors. Make sure the cosmetic surgeon you hire is board certified and experienced. Take the time to view his before and after photos. Get a feel for what his patients look like after surgery. If you take the time to educate yourself, you will make better decisions.

Plastic Surgery - Making You Happy With Yourself

Comments (0)

Our looks are what people first notice about us. They can't judge our character from across the room. Whether or not a person means to but they automatically form an opinion of how you look, how you're dressed and whether or not your hair is done a certain way. While you can control what your hair is like or what you're wearing there are some parts of your body that you can't control. If those areas of your body are a real problem for you, then you might want to consider having some plastic surgery performed.

There are many types of plastic surgery for you to choose from. If you are a lady and are a little lacking up top you might want to consider having breast augmentation surgery. This might give you a fuller figure that you might long for. Sometimes having that limited capacity can cause you to have self-esteem issues. While many people will tell you that you need to love yourself as you are, which is true, sometimes that means you need to do something special for you.

Of course there are many other types of plastic surgery. Nose jobs are probably the most popular form of cosmetic procedure. Not only women take advantage of this type of procedure, many men do as well. Unlike some of these procedures a nose job can be done to alleviate medical conditions that might make it difficult for you to breathe well.

No matter what your reason for having this procedure the most important thing to remember is to make the decision yourself. You don't want to have this type of invasive procedure performed just because someone else wants it done. Whichever type of cosmetic procedure you have done will alter your appearance. If you do it because someone else wants you to then you will only end up hating the new you, resenting yourself for being bullied into the decision, and resenting the person who told you to have the procedure done in the first place. A good cosmetic surgeon will ask you questions about why you want to have this procedure during your consultation. Most good doctors won't proceed with the operation if they are not convinced you are one hundred percent sure that it is something you want.

When you have plastic surgery you want to make sure you choose a certified physician to perform the procedure. Do not go to someone who is uncertified as these types of procedures take many years of skill and training to accomplish. All operations have risks you don't need to double or triple those risks by going to a doctor who isn't qualified to do these types of operations. If money is an issue you might want to consider talking with a certified physician about a payment plan instead.

Plastic surgery is a great way to fix the problem areas you have. Make sure you think the decision through before you go and see a physician. Do your research to make sure that you are going to the right doctor for you.

If you're not happy with your face or body, San Antonio plastic surgery could be right for you. To find out more, visit http://garzaplasticsurgery.com

Plastic Surgery - Good Or Bad?

Comments (0)

Wherever you find information about plastic surgery, there always seems to be a heated debate following. But my question is, why do people care? Yes, you can go overboard with plastic surgery, good examples are Heidi Montag and Dolly Parton, but either way, it's their bodies to mess up, shouldn't they have the option to do that? Although some people go overboard, most people correct certain flaws that greatly boost their self-esteem, and just for that isn't it worth it?

I'm also very stumped when people get so upset about celebrities getting plastic surgery. They say things like "They look good, why should they fix anything?" and "Everyone in Hollywood is trying to defy time," and although American's are more obsessed with plastic surgery than any other country, especially in Hollywood, all I can say is "Who Cares?" Who cares if celebrities want to look better, they're just people with a job, their job is to entertain.

I also hear plenty people saying that celebrities shouldn't get plastic surgery because they are role models and show a good example, but in my opinion, people need to find better role models. Celebrities are terrible role models. And they are just people, entertaining is their job, not their life. Since they are people, they have flaws, and being in the spotlight all the time, with people critiquing everything you wear, your body, the way you look, what you're eating, I can't imagine it'd be easy, so they try to correct their flaws with plastic surgery, and there's nothing wrong with that.

There are many different forms of plastic surgery besides breast enlargement and rhinoplasty. I know many people who have gotten cosmetic surgery for many different reasons. I know a woman who got a tummy tuck a few years after giving birth to an especially large baby, and that left her stomach with ridiculous stretch marks and really loose skin. It healed very well, and she couldn't look better. You shouldn't have to sacrifice your body to have children. I have a cousin who broke her nose, so she had it corrected. Why should she suffer for the rest of her life with a crooked nose, when she had a perfectly straight nose before.

I have a friend who had gotten a mole removed from his face because it has been bothering him since childhood, and was a nuisance while shaving.
